We are Ammar and Samar Hammoud,
Syrian by birth and Shaftesbury by heart.
We are an authentic Syrian Kitchen using the freshest ingredients to make delicious meals cooked with a passion for flavour.
We love to cook the meals we knew from our lives in Syria for our family, neighbours and friends.

Our starters are generous and together would make a nice Mezze style meal.
The mains are slow cooked and tender with a great depth of flavour. We cook chicken, lamb and vegetarian dishes often with rice as an accompaniment. People often say our large portions give them a meal on the next day.
Our sweets are sweet, the sweetest baklava rich in chopped nuts, filo pastry and delicious syrup.
